How do I arrange a guitar lesson?

Who are the lessons for?
Resonate Music Lab offers modern guitar lessons for children, teens and adults. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already playing and want more direction, lessons are tailored to the students age, ability and goals.
What styles of music do you teach?
Lessons are centred around modern music – rock, pop, indie, pop-punk, alternative and mainstream songs – songs the students enjoy! Technique and theory are taught through the music, not in isolation.
Do you offer one-to-one or group lessons?
Both.
• One-to-one lessons for personalised progress.
• Small group lessons (especially popular with home-educated students and schools)
Where do lessons take place?
Individual one-to-one lessons are held at the students home, creating a relaxed and focussed learning environment.
Group lessons take place in schools, community spaces, or agreed local venues.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons run for either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on age, focus and whether its a group or individual session.
Do students need any experience?
No experience needed at all! Beginners are completely welcome.
More experienced players are supported with technique, creative playing, expression and developing their own style and personality.
Do students need their own guitar?
Yes, students should have access to their own guitar at home. Advice can be given on buying the right instrument if needed.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is aligned with standard UK lesson rates. Rates vary depending on lesson length, format (one-to-one or group) and location. Please get in touch for current pricing and availability.
Are you DBS checked and insured?
Yes, I hold a Full Enhanced DBS, carry public liability insurance and have completed safeguarding training. These can be provided on request.
